Descrição

Critical TechWorks is seeking an experienced Linux Security Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the technologies that power BMW Group's innovative automotive solutions. In this role, you will dive deep into Linux security, implementing kernel hardening, access control measures (DAC and MAC), and advanced security features such as secure boot, disk encryption, and sandboxing. You'll use your expertise in Linux debugging to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, develop Python and Bash scripts to automate security processes, and engage in threat modelling to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.

As part of our fast-paced, fully agile environment, you'll work within a cross-functional team that values autonomy, collaboration, and continuous learning. You'll contribute to our CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Gerrit, and help maintain continuous security integration. This is a Rockstar Developer role—a cornerstone position at Critical TechWorks responsible for designing, developing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining our product. You should be comfortable with occasional travel to support all phases of product development and, if needed, operating software post-deployment outside standard working hours (with appropriate compensation).
