Talkdesk is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our AI engineering team in Seattle. In this role, you will develop, test, and deploy cloud-based data foundation systems and AI agent platforms, leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML models, prompt engineering, and data analysis across all data types. You'll work collaboratively with experienced team members and mentors to independently deliver projects while adhering to technical design standards and industry best practices. You'll contribute to our mission of elevating customer service experiences through innovative cloud-based AI and big data technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work with the most advanced technologies including LLMs, big data analytics, data mining, and business intelligence. We're looking for a driven individual with a strong can-do attitude, commitment to continuous learning, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and deploy cloud-based data foundation systems and AI agent platforms
- Leverage AI/ML models and apply prompt engineering techniques
- Conduct data analysis across unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data types
- Utilize data mining, business intelligence, and data transformation technologies
- Work collaboratively with team members and follow direction from team leads and mentors
- Independently deliver projects aligned with technical design standards
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders
