Senior Security Engineer

Join Talkdesk as a Senior Security Engineer focused on Penetration Testing, Incident Response, and Security Investigations. In this role, you will play a key role in detecting, investigating, and preventing security incidents while proactively identifying weaknesses across our platforms and applications. You'll perform manual and automated penetration testing of web applications, APIs, cloud-based systems, and AI/ML models, conduct security assessments of AI-driven features, and lead incident response activities.

Your responsibilities will include conducting security investigations to identify root causes and attack paths, analyzing logs and forensic artifacts to support threat hunting, triaging and prioritizing findings from penetration tests, and working closely with engineering teams to explain vulnerabilities and verify fixes. You'll also perform threat modeling, research emerging threats and attack techniques, and act as a security subject-matter expert during high-risk technical discussions.
