Senior Legal Counsel, Regulatory (APAC)

Farfetch, a leading global luxury fashion marketplace, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Regulatory (APAC) to join its strategic Legal team in Porto. In this unique opportunity, you will lead regulatory matters across the APAC region (Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand), providing high-quality strategic legal advice on complex international regulations. Working as a true business partner, you will advise on local regulatory frameworks including payments, digital regulation, consumer protection, and competition law, while identifying and mitigating risks across multiple operational territories.

You will oversee payments-related matters in APAC, develop regulatory strategies, engage with local regulators, and supervise legal counsel based in mainland China. Your responsibilities include tracking new regulatory requirements, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, building compliance processes and tools, liaising with external law firms, and supporting the Head of Legal and VP of Legal on critical compliance matters. This role requires someone commercially minded, intellectually curious, and hands-on, with the ability to quickly understand and apply new sets of international laws while managing a broad portfolio of regulatory matters in a fast-moving, innovative business environment.
