Data Architect (m/f/d)

Join Kuehne+Nagel's Data & Analytics platform team as a Data Architect to define and maintain standards and best practices across our modern data stack (AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Python, Streamlit, GitLab, Dagster). You'll work across multiple Analytical Data Product teams within our Data Mesh, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability while designing frameworks and supporting teams in building high-quality data pipelines. This role bridges technical gaps across the data platform and enables our global operations to deliver fresh fruit, time-sensitive healthcare products, and much more to people around the world.

Your responsibilities will include defining and enforcing best practices for data pipelines and models, building reusable frameworks and utilities to accelerate delivery, reviewing code across teams for quality and consistency, and supporting solution design by translating business needs into solid technical decisions. You'll mentor engineers, raise technical standards, and document architectural decisions to share knowledge across the organization.

With a Bachelor's degree in IT and 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or BI roles, you'll bring strong SQL skills, expertise with dbt and data orchestration tools, proficiency in Python, and hands-on AWS experience. You'll be able to lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and communicate effectively in English while translating business requirements into technical solutions.
