Data Engineer

BNP Paribas is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Transversal Assets and Information Technology organization, specifically within the Referential domain that manages master data across the Group. You will work as part of an agile squad composed of technical leads, data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and product owners, operating at the intersection of business and technology. The team is responsible for delivering Master Data solutions across Finance, Risk, and Human Resources, ensuring data consistency, standardization, and quality across systems.

In this role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines for ingestion and transformation, ensuring data quality and governance across all data assets. You'll develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to support business insights, and deliver automated, scalable, production-ready solutions. Your technical stack will include Ab Initio for data virtualization and orchestration, Dataiku for Data Science, and Tableau/Power BI for reporting. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, conduct code reviews, and document processes while maintaining a strong focus on data accuracy and reliability.
