Senior Software Engineer I

Talkdesk is pioneering a new era of Customer Experience Automation (CXA), and we're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Bengaluru Engineering team. You'll work with a global team of courageous innovators building AI-first solutions that put empathy, trust, and transparency at the center of every customer interaction. In this role, you'll develop and maintain microservices and APIs within our modern, agile software engineering environment, working both independently and in small teams to create scalable, stable, and user-friendly products. You'll tackle challenging technical problems daily, architecting highly-available and secure SaaS applications using microservices-based architecture, AWS, Java, and data streaming technologies. Your work will span the full development lifecycle—from design and implementation through continuous deployment—with rigorous peer code reviews ensuring excellence. Engaging with Product teams and cross-functional engineering clusters, you'll help ensure solutions meet all requirements while handling current capacity and future growth.
