Data Engineer

Talkdesk is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team of data experts in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data pipeline architecture, managing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams, and maintaining governance over our lakehouse. You will work closely with software engineers to build robust data pipelines and solve critical data-related problems across the organization. You will develop, deploy, and maintain Big Data solutions that ingest, process, and store data to power Talkdesk's business. Your responsibilities include designing batch or streaming dataflows capable of processing large quantities of fast-moving unstructured data, monitoring dataflows and underlying systems, and promoting necessary changes to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions. This is an opportunity to work at a cloud contact center leader recognized by Gartner and Forrester, with a valuation of over $10 billion. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant professional experience with distributed computing, messaging systems, and distributed processing engines. You should have strong expertise in relational databases, data modeling, and performance analysis, along with excellent English communication skills.
