
As a Financial Analyst in the Finance Business Partnering team at Farfetch, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial transformation and supporting the marketing and growth teams. You will be responsible for managing marketing costs and expenses, working closely with the accounting and Financial Planning teams to provide insights during month-end closing processes and financial planning cycles. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement, optimising processes, and implementing best practices to position the business for long-term success. You will develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support quarterly, annual, and long-term strategic planning, conduct in-depth analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making, and prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide financial guidance, while identifying opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and revenue growth initiatives. This dynamic and challenging environment involves interaction with different regions and time zones, allowing you to showcase your analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive meaningful change within a leading global luxury fashion marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support quarterly, annual, and long-term strategic planning
- Perform variance analysis, identifying and investigating deviations from plans, and proposing corrective actions
- Conduct in-depth analysis, modelling, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making processes
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Act as a trusted advisor, partnering with cross-functional teams to understand their business objectives and provide financial guidance
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and revenue growth initiatives
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with financial reporting standards
- Identify and implement process improvements and participate in reporting enhancements with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Manage marketing costs and expenses in collaboration with accounting and Financial Planning teams
