Browns Fashion is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join the Women's Ready-to-Wear (RTW) department in their London office. In this role, you will support the Buyer in executing the strategic buying strategy, identifying key opportunities, and driving performance across the category. You will research and discover new designers, maintain supplier relationships, and contribute to Browns' mission of curating innovative luxury talent. Your responsibilities will include analyzing sales performance, managing the reorder process, collaborating with internal teams such as Merchandising and Retail, and maintaining data integrity across various reporting systems. You will play a key role in supporting seasonal trend presentations and managing vendor relationships with confidence and professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Buyer in developing the Women's Designer RTW department strategy and identifying key opportunities
  • Research and identify new designers, proposing brand suggestions to support Browns' incubator mission
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate confidently to ensure positive stock and trading positions
  • Analyse sales performance and monitor sell-throughs, proposing trading actions to improve performance
  • Manage the reorder process and analyse stock cover to maximize trading opportunities
  • Manage the Order tracker during market, chasing selections and communicating with brands
  • Maintain website accuracy and internal attribution via Buy reports
  • Create vendor packs for Buying Meetings and share weekly reports with brands
  • Support merchandising team on range plan management and data integrity
  • Support Buyer with seasonal trend presentations and buy report attribution
