Your Rights at a Glance

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at equipa@okemprego.com.

1. What is GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation that came into force on 25 May 2018. This regulation aims to protect the personal data of EU citizens.

2. Right of Access (Article 15)

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed and, where it is, to access your personal data.

  • Your personal data on the "My Account" page
  • CVs you have uploaded
  • Application history
  • AI-generated profiles

3. Right to Rectification (Article 16)

You have the right to obtain, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you.

How to rectify your data:

  • Update your data on the "My Account" page
  • Edit or replace your CVs
  • Adjust AI-generated profiles
  • Contact us for corrections

4. Right to Erasure (Article 17)

"Right to be Forgotten"

You have the right to obtain the erasure of your personal data when the data is no longer necessary, you withdraw consent, or the data was unlawfully processed.

! When you request deletion of your account on okemprego.com, all associated data is permanently removed, including: CVs, AI-generated profiles, application history and personal data. This action is irreversible.

5. Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18)

You have the right to obtain restriction of processing of your data when you contest the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful, or you have objected to processing.

6. Right to Data Portability (Article 20)

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller.

  • Personal data (name, email, phone)
  • Uploaded CVs (original files)
  • AI-generated profiles
  • Application history

7. Right to Object (Article 21)

You have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Objection to Direct Marketing

You can opt out of marketing communications in your account settings or through the unsubscribe link in each email.

8. Automated Decisions (Article 22)

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.

We use AI (OpenAI) to process CVs and create profiles. However, these profiles are only to improve job matching and can be reviewed, edited or deleted by you. The final hiring decision is always made by humans.

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

1Directly on the Platform

Access your account on "My Account" to view, edit or delete personal data, CVs and applications.

2By Email

Send a request specifying your name, email and the right you wish to exercise.

Response Time

We will respond to your request within one month. This period may be extended by a further two months if necessary.

10. Supervisory Authority

If you believe that the processing of your data violates GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the CNPD.
