Join EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy and the fourth-largest wind energy producer, as a Settlement Analyst supporting our Asset Operations team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will ensure accurate processing of settlements, landowner payments, and various activities critical to our operational obligations. You will prepare monthly revenue and expense accruals, produce invoices, reconcile settlement discrepancies with ISOs and off-takers, and conduct analyses on ISO tariffs and contracts.

Your responsibilities will include managing settlements data reporting for internal and external stakeholders, scheduling and transferring renewable energy credits, and supporting the development and optimization of business processes. You will work closely with accounting teams on accounts receivable and payable requests, while maintaining strong relationships with off-takers, ISOs, and other key stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to EDP's commitment to be all-green by 2030 while leading the global energy transition.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Microsoft products and database management tools such as SQL, and excellent communication abilities. You will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment with up to 10% travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly revenue and expense accruals estimates and cash received reports for Accounting
  • Produce monthly invoices and reconcile settlement discrepancies with various ISOs and off-takers
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and conduct research on ISO tariffs and contracts
  • Produce settlements data reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform settlements activities such as scheduling and transferring renewable energy credits
  • Support development of standard business processes and optimization of existing processes
  • Support development of tools and tracking of contractual obligations for wind farms
  • Support Asset Operations staff in maintaining relationships with off-takers and ISOs
  • Collaborate with accounting on accounts receivable and payable requests
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders professionally
