Performance Analysis Specialist

EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy and the fourth-largest wind energy producer, is seeking a Performance Analysis Specialist for its Houston, TX office. In this role, you will develop and monitor performance indicators to detect and resolve long-term issues related to the operation of wind, solar, and storage assets. You will perform diagnostics of detections, propose solutions in coordination with engineering teams, and manage the resolution of detected issues while communicating statuses with Asset Operations and Performance Management departments.

Your responsibilities will include identifying key drivers of underperformance in EDPR assets, developing new indicators and detection methods, creating interactive business intelligence reports, and ensuring quality control of performance datasets. You will work collaboratively with global team members across North America and Europe, maintain relationships with Asset Managers and operating site managers, and conduct performance meetings with Field Operations. Additionally, you will program queries in SQL, PI, Azure databases, and Databricks to capture data for analysis and support supply chain strategy development.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with approximately 10% travel requirements. You will be part of a dynamic, innovative team committed to driving the energy transition and creating new energy for the planet.
