EDP Renewables is seeking a Performance Monitoring Associate to join our Renewable Generation Assets team in Houston, Texas. In this hybrid role, you will develop and monitor performance indicators for wind, solar, and storage assets, detecting and resolving long-term operational issues. You will perform diagnostics, propose solutions in coordination with engineering teams, and manage issue resolution while communicating status updates across Asset Operations and Performance Management departments.

As part of a multi-departmental team, you will represent Operations in developing supply chain strategy for EDPR NA's assets. Your responsibilities include managing supplier communication for spare parts, optimizing company supply chain operations, and overseeing warehouse inventory management using our SAP system. You will coordinate with global team members across North America and Europe, define performance standards for suppliers and service providers, and track key performance indicators related to supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor performance indicators for wind, solar, and storage assets
  • Detect and resolve long-term operational issues related to asset operations
  • Perform diagnosis of detections and propose solutions in coordination with engineering teams
  • Manage resolution of detected issues and communicate statuses with Asset Operations and Performance Management departments
  • Coordinate with global team members in North America and Europe
  • Represent Operations in multi-departmental supply chain strategy development
  • Manage supplier communication for spare part ordering and fulfillment
  • Oversee and optimize the company's supply chain operations
  • Optimize stocking levels for individual power plant warehouses in SAP system
  • Coordinate with onsite personnel to ensure optimal warehouse structure
  • Define scope of work and minimum performance standards for suppliers and service providers
  • Develop tracking methods for supply chain performance KPIs
  • Advise Procurement during Requests for Proposals relating to supply chain
  • Make recommendations to Executive Committee regarding expansion of supply chain and logistics organization
  • Assist with operation of the company's SAP system
