Expert Software Engineer - Data Orchestration

Feedzai is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to lead the development of its Data Orchestration platform, a critical component of the world's first RiskOps platform for financial risk management. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and vision for the Data Orchestration product line, combining hands-on development with experimentation and prototyping. You will ensure long-term architectural integrity while driving tactical improvements with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and developers, all while mentoring other technical roles and upholding Feedzai's product quality standards.

The Data Orchestration product handles complex challenges around large-volume data processing, diverse data sources (internal and external), data orchestration and transformation, and integration of an ecosystem of external and internal data providers. The primary use case is Account Opening, which allows financial institutions to safely onboard new clients and protect against critical risks such as identity theft, synthetic identities, and mule accounts. You will lead cross-functional teams with a "you build it, you run it" DevOps mindset, promoting a culture focused on automation, observability, and operational excellence while driving the evolution toward a decoupled, microservice-based architecture in a cloud-native environment.

Your responsibilities include providing technical management and vision, supporting cross-functional teams during planning and alignment with Customer Success, Security, Sales, and Marketing, and actively participating in hiring and mentoring engineers.
