Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its innovative team focused on advanced assembly line solutions. In this role, you will design and develop 3D mechanical concepts and detailed part lists for customized machines and tools, collaborating with cross-functional international teams to ensure designs meet technical, functional, and operational requirements. You will lead mechanical concept development while integrating innovative solutions with manufacturability, reliability, and ease of maintenance considerations.
Your responsibilities will include managing product data using Autodesk Vault (PDM system), conducting on-site acceptance testing at supplier facilities to verify compliance with specifications, and ensuring equipment availability across key industrialization milestones. You will work with advanced CAD tools, apply your expertise in tolerance chain definitions for tooling and machinery, and contribute to continuous improvement in special machine building. Responsabilidades
- Design and develop 3D mechanical concepts and detailed part lists for customized machines and tools used in advanced assembly lines
