Senior Country IT Lead – SCC Portugal

Join BNP Paribas Cardif as Senior Country IT Lead based in Porto, Portugal. In this strategic role, you will operate as a direct extension of the Cardif Group CIO, combining transformational leadership with strong operational ownership. You'll act as a key architect of Cardif's global IT sourcing strategy, designing and implementing sustainable nearshore and offshore capabilities while managing the SCC IT Portugal workforce and ensuring end-to-end operational accountability for IT services.

Your mission will span insurance expertise and business alignment, ensuring sourcing decisions align with Insurance – Savings and Protection business requirements while maintaining deep understanding of end-to-end insurance value chains. You'll navigate complex governance, risk, and resilience frameworks, working closely with Cardif Head Office and the CIO Office on sourcing and strategic transformation. Leading multicultural, multi-location teams, you'll exercise strong executive leadership, drive change with authority and diplomacy, and secure stakeholder buy-in across complex environments.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree (Master/MBA) with proven senior executive IT management in complex, fast-paced companies. You'll need deep expertise in large-scale sourcing and offshoring programs, multi-regional and multicultural environments, and Insurance value chains. Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with Portuguese highly valued. You must demonstrate exceptional stakeholder navigation skills, strategic and hands-on delivery mindset, and the ability to represent Cardif IT at the highest executive levels.
