BNP Paribas' RISK department is seeking a Python Developer Trainee to join the RISK Systems team, part of RISK Global Services. You will be part of a squad of over 250 members across 10 countries, working in a fully Scaled Agile setup (SAFe practices) in a multicultural environment. The RISK Systems team is responsible for risk capital markets IT systems and focuses on innovation priorities including Artificial Intelligence, Development Languages, Process Efficiency & Automation, and Knowledge Sharing.
Your main activities will include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code; rapidly prototyping solutions to prove or disprove new concepts; identifying bottlenecks and bugs; ensuring optimal performance and quality of applications; delivering applications incrementally to meet customer requirements; resolving incidents in production environments; and collaborating with different stakeholders to solve problems and blockages.
