Expert Software Engineer - Data Orchestration

Feedzai is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to lead the Data Orchestration product line, combining hands-on technical development with strategic leadership. You will provide technical vision and drive architectural evolution toward a decoupled, microservice-based, cloud-native SaaS platform while mentoring engineering teams. This role is central to delivering a highly efficient, scalable data orchestration solution used by data engineers, business analysts, and data scientists across financial institutions for critical use cases like account opening and fraud prevention. You will take end-to-end ownership with a DevOps mindset, ensuring continuous delivery, automation, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities include technical management of the product line, cross-functional collaboration with product, customer success, security, and sales teams, and actively shaping hiring standards and mentoring engineers. You'll work on complex distributed systems handling large volumes of diverse data sources, orchestration and transformation challenges, and integration of internal and external data providers into cohesive solutions that protect trillions of dollars globally. • Provide technical leadership and vision for the Data Orchestration product line
• Combine hands-on development with experimentation and prototyping

• Act as mentor to other technical roles and junior engineers
• Partner with teams during planning, risk assessment, and architectural design

• Support hiring process by shaping technical evaluation standards
