Expert Software Engineer - Data Orchestration

Feedzai is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to lead the development of the Data Orchestration platform, a critical component of our RiskOps platform for financial risk management. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and vision for the Data Orchestration product line, combining hands-on development with experimentation and prototyping. You'll ensure long-term architectural integrity while driving tactical improvements in collaboration with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and developers, with a focus on building cloud-native SaaS systems that handle large volumes of diverse data sources and complex orchestration challenges.

You will lead cross-cutting engineering initiatives, mentor other technical roles, and uphold Feedzai's product quality standards across a team of talented engineers. Your mission is to deliver the technical leadership necessary to create and maintain a highly efficient, high-quality, and scalable Data Orchestration SaaS product. This includes providing technical management, supporting cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success, Security, Sales, and Marketing teams, and actively participating in hiring and growth initiatives to strengthen the engineering organization.

The role involves deep technical knowledge of data engineering technologies, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems operating at ultra-low latencies. You will work on challenges around data wrangling, transformation, and integration of external and internal data providers, with the primary use case being Account Opening solutions for financial institutions. This position offers the opportunity to impact how banks safely onboard new clients and protect against critical risks such as identity theft and synthetic identities.
