Join Talkdesk as a Strategy & Value Senior Consultant, where you'll operate as a force multiplier across our sales organization and strategic resource on our most significant deals. In this role, you'll advise Account Executives on deal strategy, coach them on value modeling, and lead pre-sales teams on complex opportunities. You'll develop industry-specific knowledge in customer experience automation, working across North America to help enterprise clients understand the measurable business value of traditional automation, AI, and agentic AI solutions. Your responsibilities span the entire deal lifecycle: from early-stage strategic advisory and stakeholder mapping to leading on-site business process discovery, building CFO-level business cases, and delivering executive presentations to C-suite audiences. You'll coach AEs on our proprietary value modeling platform, maintain vertical-specific benchmark libraries, and serve as an escalation point for complex financial questions and modeling scenarios. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced consultant or presales strategist with 7-12 years in management consulting, value engineering, or enterprise presales. You'll need strong executive presence, deep expertise in business case construction, and demonstrated success leading discovery engagements and building enterprise-class deals.

Responsibilities

  • Engage early in the sales cycle as a strategic advisor to Account Executives, helping them assess deal structure and develop winning approaches
  • Advise on stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, and sequencing of value conversations
  • Coach Account Executives on proprietary business case modeling tool usage and value hypothesis development
  • Review and provide structured feedback on AE-developed value models and presentations
  • Lead on-site business process discovery engagements at strategic accounts
  • Map current-state processes across operational domains to surface inefficiencies and value potential
  • Own end-to-end construction and delivery of formal business cases using proprietary modeling platform
  • Build models that withstand CFO-level scrutiny, grounded in customer-validated data
  • Maintain and evolve vertical-specific benchmark libraries and value hypothesis frameworks
  • Lead design and delivery of executive-level business case presentations for C-suite audiences
  • Structure presentations as strategic advisory narratives, not product pitches
  • Anticipate and pre-empt executive objections through scenario analysis and sensitivity framing
