Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive III to drive new business development and close opportunities within large enterprise accounts in the Financial Services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering and expanding relationships with business units across the enterprise, managing the complete end-to-end sales process, and developing comprehensive sales strategies to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. You will work with strategic accounts, leverage sales engineers and professional services resources, and communicate market insights back to headquarters. This position requires 8+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise SaaS solutions, with a proven track record of quota achievement and revenue growth. You will need strong business acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with C-level executives and senior management. The role involves 50%+ travel and requires comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be instrumental in positioning Talkdesk's competitive advantages and contributing to the sales go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development within large enterprise accounts in the Financial Services industry
- Close sales opportunities and manage the complete end-to-end sales process
- Foster and expand relationships with business units, divisions, and overall enterprise customers
- Create and cultivate close relationships with strategic alliances
- Understand customers' business strategy and manage a long-term, sustainable business portfolio
- Manage engagement of sales engineers, professional services, executives, and partners
- Present innovative ideas showcasing Talkdesk's competitive advantages
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through execution of the sales process
- Develop comprehensive sales strategy and plans ensuring consistent achievement of short- and long-term objectives
- Build lasting relationships with management, team members, and prospect/customer communities
- Align with the sales go-to-market plan and own accountability for market segmentation and targeted accounts
- Develop internal relationships to support account management and deal closure
- Communicate accurate and realistic forecast information to management
- Communicate market reaction and needs back to headquarters
- Solve cross-functional problems collaboratively
- Prioritize customer needs to guide engineering and functional areas
