Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer with deep healthcare expertise to serve as a strategic consultant for healthcare organizations. This role combines technical excellence with healthcare industry knowledge, helping sales teams establish clear value and differentiation in AI-powered Contact Center and CX solutions. You'll engage throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from pre-sales engineering to post-sale expansion, while supporting C-level discussions and accelerating deal cycles.
As a seasoned healthcare operator or practitioner, you'll bring comprehensive knowledge of clinical workflows, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH), and patient engagement. Your responsibilities include conducting discovery conversations, designing tailored solutions, delivering compelling presentations, managing pilots and POCs, and responding to RFI/RFP requirements. You'll collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and healthcare stakeholders to ensure customer feedback shapes product roadmaps.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research to prepare for meetings with prospects to understand their business environment, market, customers, and challenges
- Execute discovery conversations with customers to understand needs, requirements, and pain points
- Specify appropriate Talkdesk solutions based on customer needs and requirements
- Design and deliver presentations to customers (on-site and virtual) demonstrating Talkdesk capabilities
- Generate value statements illustrating financial benefits of Talkdesk solutions
- Assist with scoping Statements of Work for customer implementations
- Scope, execute, and manage customer pilots and proofs of concept
- Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps
- Support marketing and demand generation events as needed
- Travel 20-50% for customer and internal meetings
