Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer with deep healthcare expertise to drive strategic value for healthcare organizations. This role combines technical excellence with healthcare domain knowledge, requiring you to understand clinical workflows, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH), and patient engagement. You'll engage throughout the entire sales lifecycle—from pre-sales discovery and technical qualification to solution architecture and post-sale expansion—positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for C-level discussions. As a seasoned healthcare operator or practitioner, you'll conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, design and deliver compelling presentations showcasing Talkdesk's AI-powered Contact Center and CX solutions, and help identify revenue expansion opportunities. Your responsibilities include preparing for prospect meetings, generating value statements, scoping implementations and POCs, responding to RFI/RFP requirements, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps. This is an excellent opportunity for a thought leader who thrives in complex healthcare environments—whether supporting providers, payers, or digital health organizations—and who can translate technical capabilities into business outcomes. You'll travel 20-50% for customer and internal meetings while supporting both commercial and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to understand prospect business environment, market, customers, and competitors
  • Carry out discovery conversations with customers to understand needs and requirements
  • Specify appropriate Talkdesk solutions for customer needs and requirements
  • Design and deliver presentations to customers showcasing capabilities aligned to customer needs
  • Generate value statements illustrating financial value of Talkdesk solutions
  • Assist with scoping SOWs for customer implementations
  • Scope, execute, and manage customer pilots and POCs
  • Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements
  • Work closely with product management and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps
  • Assist with marketing and demand generation events
