Talkdesk is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic customer implementation projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will manage multiple complex customer projects simultaneously, working across customers, partners, and internal teams to drive successful multi-location and multi-phase deployments. You'll be responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks, and ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned through regular status meetings and executive business reviews.

This is a client-facing position requiring strong leadership and communication skills to manage escalations and maintain relationships at the C-level. You'll partner with internal teams including Product, Engineering, and Support to ensure timely delivery of solutions, while conducting post-project reviews to drive continuous process improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping Talkdesk's customers successfully implement our AI-driven Customer Experience Automation solutions.

The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of technical project management experience in a SaaS environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities

  • Lead Talkdesk's strategic customer implementation projects from kick-off to completion
  • Define project scope, schedule project activities, and integrate those into the broader project plan with customer project managers
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously across multi-location and multi-phase deployments
  • Proactively identify risks pertaining to time, scope, and budget and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies
  • Conduct regular status meetings with customers and teams to assess progress against plan and perform re-forecasts as necessary
  • Conduct executive business reviews throughout implementation outlining project status, open risks, and success dependencies
  • Understand customer use cases, formulate best practices, and document functional and technical requirements
  • Partner with internal teams such as Product, Engineering, and Support to ensure timely delivery of features and support
  • Participate in the sales cycle to formulate delivery approach and develop proposals and SOWs
  • Conduct post-project reviews with internal and external stakeholders and lead root cause analysis discussions
  • Drive professional accountability for overall project success and ensure KPIs are met
