Senior Legal Counsel - M&A, Finance and Corporate

Repsol seeks an experienced attorney to join its Legal team supporting the Renewables business in Downtown Houston. This role focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, finance including tax equity structures, and shareholder engagement following asset rotation. You will lead legal aspects of M&A transactions, draft and negotiate corporate documents, manage entity formation and governance, and provide strategic legal support in a dynamic renewable energy environment.

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in renewable energy law with strong expertise in M&A and corporate transactions. You will work cross-functionally with finance, development, operations, and external counsel teams, serving as the legal interface for new shareholders and ensuring compliance with complex transactional requirements.
