Farfetch is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Private Client division in New York to lead and enhance the customer experience for our most valuable clients. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for growing North America's top clientele, engaging new clients, and increasing brand desirability through strategic leadership and team management. This role offers the opportunity to work with a truly global luxury fashion team dedicated to building long-lasting relationships with clients and delivering personalized, exceptional service. In this position, you will manage a team of Senior Stylists, Stylists, and Assistants, setting and overseeing goals while developing team members to improve sales techniques and client management. You will analyze sales performance, drive customer acquisition strategies using your professional networks, collaborate with Brand Marketing on high-profile events and partnerships, and maintain market awareness of competitors and trends. Your responsibilities will also include attending brand events as a Farfetch ambassador, presenting at company gatherings, and supporting the annual performance management process. You bring a minimum of 5 years of team management experience in a related sales industry, with a proven track record of exceeding commercial goals. You are strategic, well-versed in Salesforce and Excel, comfortable presenting at all organizational levels, and willing to travel when necessary. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with the ability to inspire and develop talent in the luxury fashion sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the North America Private Client department, reporting to the Head of Sales
- Establish vision and build regional and global strategy in collaboration with PC leadership team
- Set and manage goals for a team of Senior Stylists, Stylists and Assistants, reviewing performance against targets
- Develop team members through guidance and direction to improve sales techniques and client management
- Analyze sales reports, client books and client engagement/travel budgets
- Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies and projects using professional and personal networks
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing team on events, brand collaborations and partnerships for top-tier customer attraction
- Promote clienteling efforts focused on growing and retaining top clients
- Work with global Merchandising team to ensure knowledge of forthcoming stock availability
- Monitor market competition through website research, editorial review and seasonal comparative shopping
- Attend brand events to support business development and serve as Farfetch brand ambassador
- Maintain team management standards including timekeeping, expense reporting, scheduling and new hire training
- Participate and present during monthly All Hands meetings, North America manager meetings and global gatherings
- Assist Director in annual performance management process
