Talkdesk is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business development within large enterprise accounts in the Financial Services industry. You will be responsible for closing opportunities, fostering relationships with business units and divisions, and managing the complete sales process from engagement through closure. This role offers the opportunity to work with strategic accounts, leverage Sales Engineers and Professional Services resources, and develop comprehensive sales strategies that ensure consistent achievement of objectives. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will manage a substantial territory and be expected to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. You will build lasting relationships with C-suite and senior management, communicate market insights back to headquarters, and align with Talkdesk's Go-to-Market strategy. With 50%+ travel required, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on positioning innovative cloud-based solutions to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new business development within large enterprise accounts in the Finance industry
  • Close opportunities and foster expansion of company relationships with business units and divisions
  • Create and cultivate relationships with strategic alliances
  • Understand customers' business strategy and manage long-term, sustainable business portfolios
  • Manage end-to-end sales processes through engagement of Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners
  • Present innovative ideas showcasing Talkdesk's competitive advantage
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets and quotas
  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies ensuring consistent achievement of objectives
  • Build meaningful relationships with management, team members, and prospect/customer communities
  • Develop and own accountability for region's market segmentation and targeted accounts
  • Communicate accurate forecast information to management
  • Report market reactions and needs to headquarters
  • Collaborate across functional areas to solve complex problems
  • Prioritize customer needs to guide engineering and other functional areas
