Talkdesk is seeking an Associate Proposal Manager to support the mixed commercial sales team in Salt Lake City. In this role, you will manage proposal development for small-to-mid-sized business deals, creating written responses to formal customer requests such as Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). You will work with our RFP management tool, Responsive, to develop proposals from our content library and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your key responsibilities will include proposal administration using Responsive to import and manage RFx documents, running AI-generated draft tools, and performing proofreading and copy-editing. You will also engage in proposal writing and development by leveraging the Talkdesk Content Library to create first drafts, researching and composing new responses, and handling formatting and desktop publishing. Additionally, you will manage project workflows by driving due diligence questionnaire and RFP completion, leading proposal status meetings, and building relationships with sales team members.

Responsibilities

  • Use Responsive to dissect RFx documents and import questions and requirements into a collaboration workspace
  • Run Responsive's AI Draft tool on new projects and review AI-generated responses for accuracy
  • Proofread and copy-edit responses written by subject matter experts
  • Use the Talkdesk Content Library to write first drafts of responses
  • Research and compose net-new responses for corporate questions and requirements
  • Export proposals from Responsive and perform formatting and desktop publishing
  • Drive the completion of due-diligence questionnaires, RFIs, and mixed commercial RFPs
  • Lead proposal status meetings, including opportunity reviews, strategy reviews and readiness reviews
  • Develop relationships with sales team members and provide support for business development
