NERC Compliance Associate

Repsol, a globally integrated multi-energy company headquartered in Madrid, is seeking a Compliance Associate to support our NERC compliance program for renewable power generation. This role ensures adherence to NERC Reliability Standards and internal control frameworks while contributing to the integrity and reliability of operations. You will monitor compliance across applicable functions, prepare compliance evidence for audits and self-certifications, and maintain accurate records of compliance activities. The ideal candidate will provide subject matter support on solar PV power generation, battery energy storage systems, and protection systems while collaborating with engineering and operations teams. You will generate detailed compliance status reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, identify compliance risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support root cause analysis for violations. Additionally, you will contribute to developing AI models within regulatory frameworks to enhance compliance monitoring and reporting capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and maintain compliance with NERC Reliability Standards across all applicable functions
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal control frameworks to ensure regulatory adherence
• Prepare and submit compliance evidence for audits and self-certifications
• Provide subject matter support on solar PV power generation, battery energy storage systems, and protection systems
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into system design and maintenance
• Generate detailed compliance status reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions
• Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action plans for compliance violations
• Contribute to the development of AI models within regulatory frameworks to enhance compliance monitoring and reporting
