Software Architect (m/f/d)

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an experienced Software Architect to shape the application landscape and drive technological innovation across our global organization. In this pivotal IT role, you will be responsible for analyzing and modeling the application landscape considering both business and technical aspects, including Business Domains, Capabilities, Functional and Technical Architecture, and Infrastructure Design. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, prepare technical outlines for epics, and contribute to the definition and specification of modular, integrated software products.

Beyond architecture, you will work as a hands-on developer within a Java and Angular-based internal digital product team, ensuring clean code, quality, and long-term maintainability. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and recommending appropriate technologies and frameworks, designing automated tests, and advocating for AI acceleration within the team. You will demonstrate strong communication skills, support and mentor your team members, and influence the future direction of logistics IT through strategic architectural decisions.
