Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex cloud environments that power our global systems and operations. In this critical IT role, you will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to improve and optimize cloud operations, ensuring our infrastructure supports the organization's strategic goals while remaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

You will be responsible for designing advanced cloud architectures including multi-cloud and hybrid setups, driving cloud strategy and innovation by evaluating new technologies, and implementing comprehensive cloud security measures. Additionally, you will monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency, lead the resolution of complex cloud incidents, and maintain clear documentation of cloud policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

  • Design and implement advanced cloud architectures that support the organization's strategic goals, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
  • Drive cloud strategy and innovation by evaluating new technologies and recommending improvements to keep the infrastructure competitive and aligned with business needs
  • Build and manage robust cloud environments, including multi-cloud and hybrid setups, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, applying best practices for resource and cost management
  • Implement and oversee cloud security measures such as IAM, encryption, and threat detection, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Lead the resolution of complex cloud incidents, including incident response and root cause analysis
  • Create and maintain clear documentation of cloud architectures, policies, and procedures, and provide regular reports on performance, security, and compliance
