BNP Paribas is seeking an Operational and Permanent Control Officer to join its Finance, Accounts and Management Control team in Lisbon. In this role, you will operate the control framework relating to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, and Information & Communication Technology risks. You will be responsible for deploying internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing complex risk assessments and controls across the organization.
Your key responsibilities include identifying and assessing risks through Risk and Control Self-Assessments, managing and implementing Group procedures with local specificities, implementing complex control plans, documenting findings and recommendations, managing historical incidents, providing management support through governance committees, leading OPC-related projects, and supporting team members' development. You will work across multiple operational units, coordinate with independent control functions, analyze complex incidents, and deliver insights to senior management through periodic reporting and presentations.

Responsabilidades
- Identify and assess risks and controls of higher complexity through Risk and Control Self-Assessment, ensuring key operational units, material risks and risk mitigants are properly identified
- Manage and ensure implementation of Group procedures locally, complemented with local regulations, tools and organisational specificities
- Implement complex and elaborated controls and action plans by defining and updating control plans according to risk assessments, regulations and risk events
- Document findings, recommendations and permanent control actions by organising follow-up of findings from internal and external sources
- Manage historical incidents with higher complexity, alerting management and independent control functions on key incidents, and define corrective measures
- Provide complex management support and governance through active contribution to Operational Risk and Permanent Control committees
- Manage OPC-related projects autonomously, ensuring quality and respect of deadlines while delivering meaningful insights
- Support team members' development by coaching junior team members and facilitating knowledge sharing within the team
