Yazaki, a leading Japanese automotive supplier founded in 1929, is seeking an experienced IT AM Support Senior Specialist for Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) systems at our Ovar Plant in Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for service design and service transition activities, including creating IT solution blueprints, building and customizing solutions triggered by incidents, changes, problems, or projects. You will coordinate and steer developers and consultants, align with key users for testing and quality assurance, manage deployments, and ensure proper documentation. Additionally, you will provide 2nd and 3rd level support for service operations, handle incident and problem management, and be available for 24/7 on-duty support as needed. You will serve as the primary contact person for requesters and stakeholders, communicate progress according to IT-AM frameworks, and actively contribute to continuous improvements in your area of expertise.
You will also be responsible for knowledge management, training colleagues, documenting processes and procedures, and ensuring effective communication within the IT organization regarding your subject matter expertise in SCM and EWM systems.

Responsabilidades
- Create blueprints and specifications for IT solutions in SCM and EWM
- Build new IT solutions through customization and development triggered by incidents, changes, problems, or projects
- Coordinate and steer developers, external and internal consultants within area of responsibility
- Align with key users for testing, quality assurance, deployment support, and documentation
- Manage scope, quality, time, and budget as Project or Change Lead when assigned
- Communicate progress and status to Change Manager according to IT-AM framework
- Update ServiceNow with status reports in agreed timeframes
- Serve as primary contact person for requesters and stakeholders
- Implement proper escalation procedures in case of disagreements
- Actively gain knowledge about changes and new process implementations
- Review and create documentation, ensuring storage on central repositories
- Provide IT knowledge transfer training to colleagues
- Ensure availability and visibility of subject matter expertise
- Drive continuous improvements and push innovation ideas through the IT organization
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for incidents and problems
- Participate in 24/7 on-duty support rotations as aligned with SOM
