GMO Documentation – Drafting and Matching Analyst

BNP Paribas is seeking a GMO Documentation – Drafting and Matching Analyst to join its Operations Processing team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of risk undertaken by business lines, supporting Trading and Sales desks through the drafting of OTC Physical confirmations for a wide range of products including Options, Swaps, Forwards across Oil, Metals, Softs, Energy, Power, Gas and Equities. The Documentation team performs a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with confirmations and term sheets, while managing all post-trade events with clients.

In this role, you will draft legal confirmations based on ISDA definitions, conduct trade reviews of risk bookings and term sheets, monitor workflows to ensure timely dispatch of confirmations, and meet regulator timelines. You will serve as the direct point of escalation internally on documentation queries, maintain daily liaison with customers on discrepancies, solve discrepancies on incoming confirmations, and ensure the correct functioning of matching electronic platforms. You will work collaboratively with Front Office Trading and Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT and other Operational areas across multiple global locations including London, Paris, Montreal, and Singapore.
