Cloud Network Engineer

Farfetch is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join our Platform team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will design, automate, and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud network infrastructure using modern cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, and network automation practices. You'll work on implementing and managing cloud networking solutions across platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, while contributing to solutions that deliver real business impact for our global luxury e-commerce marketplace.

Your responsibilities will include automating network provisioning with Terraform and CI/CD practices, building and optimizing highly available network architectures, configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, and VPNs, and monitoring performance to drive continuous improvements. You'll collaborate with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver resilient infrastructure, simplify our network architecture, and establish technical standards and operational excellence initiatives.

You should have a degree in Computer Science or IT (or equivalent experience) with strong cloud networking expertise, preferably in Azure. You'll need solid understanding of networking fundamentals, experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, scripting skills in Python or Bash, familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in English. Additional qualifications like Kubernetes networking experience, industry certifications (CCNA, CKAD, AZ-900), or knowledge of hybrid cloud and Zero Trust architectures are valued.
