Expert Software Engineer - Data Orchestration

Feedzai is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for the Data Orchestration product line. In this role, you will combine hands-on development with experimentation and prototyping, ensuring long-term architectural integrity while driving tactical improvements. You'll lead cross-cutting engineering initiatives, mentor other technical roles, and uphold Feedzai's product quality standards across a highly efficient, scalable Data Orchestration SaaS platform.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical management and vision for the Data Orchestration product, partnering with Product Managers and Engineers on planning, design, and estimates. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Security, Sales, and Marketing teams to shape technical direction, while supporting the hiring process and mentoring engineers to become strong technical interviewers. This role requires an engineer at heart who can lead and guide engineering teams to deliver excellence while promoting a DevOps mindset and cloud-native architecture.

The Data Orchestration product tackles challenges around large-volume data, diverse data sources, data transformation, and integration of external and internal data providers. With applications in data wrangling and orchestration, the primary use case is Account Opening—enabling financial institutions to safely onboard new clients and protect against critical risks such as identity theft and synthetic identities.
