Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer Enterprise to join our Solution Engineering & Shared Services team in London. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our Customer Experience Automation (CXA) revolution, working with enterprise clients to understand their business challenges and deliver innovative AI-first solutions. You will conduct in-depth discovery conversations, design compelling presentations, and guide customers through pilots and implementations while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

You will leverage your extensive knowledge of cloud-based contact center solutions to specify appropriate solutions for complex customer requirements. Your responsibilities include responding to RFI/RFP requirements, scoping statements of work, managing customer pilots and proofs of concept, and translating customer feedback into product roadmap improvements. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Solutions Engineer who excels at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and commanding attention through compelling demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research to prepare for upcoming meetings with prospects to understand their business environment, market, customers, competitors and general business challenges
  • Carries out discovery conversations with customers to understand their needs and requirements for new solutions
  • Uses in-depth knowledge of Talkdesk solutions and capabilities to specify appropriate solution(s) for customer needs
  • Designs and delivers presentations to customers, on-site and virtual, showing Talkdesk's capabilities aligned to customer needs
  • Generates value statements illustrating the financial value of Talkdesk solutions to customers
  • Assists with scoping Statements of Work for customer implementations
  • Scopes, executes and manages customer pilots and POCs
  • Responds to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements and maps said requirements to software solutions
  • Works closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product roadmaps
  • Assists with marketing and demand generation events as necessary
